Marge Jock, a family and consumer sciences teacher at Ray Middle School, attended the New York State Association of Family & Consumer Sciences Annual Conference in Lake Placid in October. The association was celebrating its 100th anniversary.
Experts in family and consumer sciences content areas, such as personal finance, health and nutrition and housing, presented strategies for helping individuals, families and communities sustain and improve the quality of life while fostering a healthy environment.
Attendees also participated in centennial activities and special events.
