New insight to the Oct. 29 armed robbery of Nino’s Pizzeria in DeWitt revealed that the suspect was last seen running across Butternut Drive to enter the passenger side of a light-colored four-door car that was parked by the JD’s Fish & Grill entrance. Police officials say the car then headed southbound on Butternut Drive.

Nino’s Pizzeria in Dewitt was the victim of an armed robbery last night Oct. 29 after a man, displaying what appeared to be a handgun, demanded money from an employee. He fled the restaurant, located at 5980 Butternut Drive, with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect is described as a white male between 20 to 30 years of age, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall and balding. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, sneakers and a blue covering over his face.
