It’s the Ride and Slide Horse Show to qualify for World Equestrian Games- Proceeds will benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of CNY.
Come watch horses from all over the country compete at the Central New York Ride and Slide Reining, happening Wednesday, June 3 through Sunday, June 7 in the Coca Cola Coliseum at the New York State Fairgrounds. The public is invited to come and watch world class horseman.
Riders from across the country will be competing Saturday, June 6 at 6 p.m. to qualify for the chance to ride on the USA World Equestrian Reining Team in Lexington, Kentucky in 2010.
Saturday evening will conclude with a crowd pleasing Freestyle Class, where horses and riders “dance” to music. The winners will be awarded cash and prizes, and members of the public are invited to view and cheer on their favorite horse in competition.
A portion of the proceeds from Saturday night will go to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of CNY to help build their new house here in Syracuse.
There will be exciting “half time” entertainment from the five-time State Champion Broome County 4-H Drill Team and prizes for spectators.
The Saturday night (June 6) event costs $5 for adults, $3 for kids 12 and under, children 3 & under are free.
