Mayor Matt Driscoll and other Syracuse dignitaries joined the four partners and their team at King and King Architects for an official ribbon cutting at their new headquarters on the near West Side today.
The firm started the move from Manlius into the new 52,000 square foot building located at 358 West Jeffereson Street on January 12.
Special guest Carol Coletta, President, CEOs for Cities, was also on hand. CEO for Cities is a national network of urban leaders dedicated to building and sustaining the next generation of great American cities.
Peter King said presently his favorite building designed by King and King, his family’s firm established in 1868, is their new headquarters that sits between the Onondaga Creek border of Armory Square and West Street.
King & King employs more than 70 people and specializes in design for higher ed, schools K through 12, healthcare and community organizations with a focus on sustainable design.
