By placing enough high finishers in all the events, the Liverpool boys swim team subdued Fayetteville-Manlius 101-82 last Tuesday night in front of the home folks. The Warriors gained an immediate edge when, in the 200 medley relay, James Walker, Joe Hens, Cory Spado and Ben Hanna combined to win in a time of 1:48.22. Though F-M won most of the individual titles, getting two apiece from Kevin Koh (200 freestyle, 100 butterfly) and Jack Robinson (200 individual medley, 100 backstroke), Liverpool still got the points it needed. Tim Roche, with 187.35 points, produced a victory on the diving board, while Alex Perfitt earned a victory in the 100 freestyle in 54.79 seconds. Shane Donovan needed 5:37 flat to take first place in the 500 freestyle. The Warriors meet Baldwinsville on Thursday night, if the weather clears up.
