With a solid all-around effort, each of Baldwinsville’s indoor track and field teams earned high finishes during Monday night’s Jack Morse Relays.
On the boys end, the Bees earned 21 points and took second place, just behind Corcoran (23 points) for the runner-up spot as Cicero-North Syracuse won with 52 points.
B’ville’s best finish came in the 1,600 sprint medley, where Jeff Pond, Kyle Rogers, Sean Bernstein and Tim Chambers posted a time of 3:50.44, trailing only Marcellus, who won in 3:44.72.
Over in the high jump, Bernstein tied for top individual honors with Chittenango’s Bruce Godneck, each of them clearing 6 feet, as the Bees and Bears tied for second behind CNS, resulting in seven points.
Rogers and Brian Kane combined for fourth in the long jump, going 37 feet 1 1/2 inches between them. Ethan Pacheck, Nathan McCabe, Sam Kurey and Charles Parker worked together for fifth place (9:02.09) in the 4×800 relay.
B’ville picked up 14 points in the girls Morse Relays, taking eighth place. Miranda Nicoletti and Sierra Earle combined to finish third in the shot put, with total throws of 56 feet 5 inches.
On the oval, Christina Sprague, Jaimee Balloni, Danae Polsin and Nicole Fecco teamed up for third in the distance medley relay in 13:28.51, just as Lauren O’Connor, Ashley Shaheen, Kaitlyn Colligan and Liz Magowan posting a 10:51.88 in the 4×800 for fifth place.
