Before you drive all the way to the shopping mall in search of the perfect gift, stop by Bitz & Pieces Gift Shop located in Town Square Centre Plaza, also known as Smokey Hollow Plaza.
“We saw a need for a gift shop in Baldwinsville,” said Tammy Hoffmann who co-owns Bitz & Pieces with David L’Italien. “We would love to revitalize this strip.”
The store is spacious and welcoming with a wide selection of reasonably priced gifts for any occasion. Best sellers include Bean Pod Candles, Melissa and Doug Toys, Willow Tree collectibles, Gund bears, Christmas ornaments, home decor, costume jewelry and much more.
“We are a family-friendly store that loves to give one-on-one attention to our customers,” Hoffmann said.
Parents are encouraged to bring their children to the small play area in the back of the store while they shop.
One-stop shopping is a big draw to the store according to L’Italien. They offer a large selection of designer greeting cards at 50 percent off retail prices and an endless array of gift bags of all shapes and sizes. It’s no surprise that they’ve already had repeat customers since they opened the store earlier this month. By emphasizing great prices and a wide selection, the store is already a great asset to the Baldwinsville community.
Both Hoffmann and L’Italien live in Baldwinsville.
“We are firm believers in buy local, shop local,” L’Italien said. Both agree that there is great potential for Town Square Centre Plaza in the future because it is easily accessible to Baldwinsville residents.
