Q: What does your organization provide to the B’ville community?
A: The Baldwinsville Center for the Arts works to provide all types of arts-related events and programming to the B’ville community. Whether you are interested in theater or fine arts, comedy or string instruments, we organize fun and interesting programs for people of all ages.
Q: Why does your organization stand out?
A: Our organization stands out because it focuses on all types of the arts, rather than just fine arts or just the performing arts.
Q: What is your favorite part about the B’ville community?
A: Our favorite part about the B’ville community is how much everyone we meet loves their town and wants to convince others to love it, too!
Q: What does your organization have planned for the next 12 months?
A: Our most popular annual event, the Ghost Walk, is coming up the first weekend in October. After that, we are working on planning a Winter Arts Series, which will begin in January. Then the 4th Annual Arts Festival, featuring the Art Walk, is scheduled for June 6, 2020.
Q: What do you see for your organization in the next five years?
A: One of our most important goals for the next few years is to become a resource for artists living in the B’ville community. Eventually we plan to have a database of local artists available on our website, with profiles for each artist, where they can showcase their work and list their contact information and links to their personal websites.
Q: What has been your most satisfying moment in operating your organization?
A: Seeing the amount of support from the community for our events. It was amazing to see over 1,000 people come into the village last October for the Ghost Walk!
