Two local athletic organizations are holding their annual fundraisers this month and have announced schedules and information for the events.
The Skaneateles Lacrosse Boosters are holding their 2012 Golf Outing / FUNdraiser on Sunday, Sept. 30, at Dutch Hollow Country Club, 1839 Benson Road, Auburn. Registration and lunch begin at noon and a shotgun start for golf starts at 1 p.m. Raffles and a silent auction will be held after the golfing ends, along with a dinner of tacos and wings.
The entry fee of $75 per player includes 18 holes of golf with a cart, lunch and dinner. All foursomes must include at least 1 adult. Skins will also be available for $20 per team. There also will be longest drive, closest to the pin and putting contests. Limited to 72 golfers.
People who do not golf can still join the event for dinner and the silent auction for $15.

The Skaneateles Ski Club’s annual fall festival will be held from 6 to 11 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at the Skaneateles Ski Hill, 2995 Route 174, Marietta.
The family-friendly event will include activities for kids of all age, food, fun, raffles, pumpkins, silent auction and more. Entertainment will include the M.D.L. Irish Dancers and music by Alibi and The Mere Mortals. Bring your own beverages.
Advance tickets will be sold at The Chocolate Pizza Company, 60 E. Main St., Marcellus, and The White Sleigh and Wirth Automotive in Skaneateles. Advance ticket prices are $15 for adults, $30 for family and kids are free.
Tickets also can be purchased at the door: $20 for adults, $40 for family and kids are free.
