The Summer Book Sale will be held at Skaneateles Village Hall (26 Fennell Street). This annual sale features thousands of adult and children’s books, plus DVDs, CDs, audiobooks and puzzles! To protect the health and safety of our volunteers, staff and community, COVID protocols must be followed and will be updated to reflect current conditions. If you’d like to volunteer to help with the sale, you can register online or sign up at the library.

Join instructor Eva Pajak to discover the meaning of mindfulness and how to apply it to your everyday life. During each hour-long class, you’ll learn about mindfulness, be guided through meditations, and do simple yoga stretches to get your body moving! Registration required.

The American West is a land shaped by fire. From the ever more dangerous wildfires that have become a fixture of the hiking season to hulking volcanoes that conceal their fiery past and future, no hike through the mountains of the West escapes the forces—both seen and unseen—that have forged these breathtaking landscapes. Join Skaneateles native Jeff “Mountain Man” Brownscheidle as he recounts his thru-hikes of the Wonderland, John Muir, and Tahoe Rim Trails and the infernos—both above ground and below—that connect them.
