Preview the iconic photos Nov. 12 at the CNY Veterans Parade and Expo
“Picturing Nam: U.S. Military Photographs of the Vietnam War” is a traveling exhibit from the National Archives. It features pictures taken by photojournalists and military photographers, providing citizens with an intimate and uncensored view of the war in Vietnam.
The exhibit will be part of the CNY Veterans Parade & Expo Saturday, November 12at the New York State Fairgrounds. Following that event the display will be moved to OCC where it will be available for public viewing from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. each day from Nov. 16 to Jan. 7. The exhibit is open to the public and there is no admission charge.
An opening reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, at the Atrium of Whitney Applied Technology Center, Onondaga Community College, 4585 West Seneca Turnpike, Syracuse, NY 13215.
