Ann S Barnes, 70, of Daytona Beach, Fla., Died July 25, 2016.
Ann attended Cazenovia high school and Baldwin Wallace College. She majored in art and English. Ann was a resident of Cazenovia and New Woodstock, N.Y., until moving to Daytona in 1992.
She loved gardening, playing the banjo and writing. She was inventive and creative and had a gift for writing poems. She worked for the town of Cazenovia prior to moving south.
She is pre deceased by her son Adam, and husband Gary. Surviving is daughter Alison Barnes Fuller and husband Gordie; son, Alex Barnes and wife Jasmeen Simes Barnes and granddaughter, Phoebe Barnes; her brother, Jack Skoglund and sister, Jane Stevens with the extended family members.
Services will be held for both Ann and Gary at 3 p.m. on Sept. 17 at the federated church of New Woodstock. A light reception will be held at the church following the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Ann’s name to Hallifax Hospice, 3800 Woodbriar Tr. Port Orange, Fla. 32129.
