Communities working together to address meetings
Manlius Town Supervisor Edmond Theobald and Mayors Mark Olson, Paul Whorrall, and Bill Brazill of the Villages of Fayetteville, Manlius, and Minoa have announced collaborations and important updates for public meetings during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Until further notice, village and town meetings will be held for the public via livestream broadcast.
Officials will be meeting in space provided by the Village of Manlius, and social distancing protocol will be observed as much as possible.
The town recently launched a livestream capability and is working to make that available for as many meetings as possible during these extraordinary circumstances.
Please visit the village and town websites and Facebook pages to follow announcements of meetings. Broadcasts for the meetings will be available at:

These meetings will be closed to public attendance for the safety of all concerned but the livestreaming fulfills the commitment to keep meetings open to the public.
Authority to make this adjustment was provided by Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s March 13, 2020 Executive Order to temporarily suspend Open Meetings Law to allow for public bodies to hold meetings without public attendance.
A special Town of Manlius board meeting was held on Monday, March 16 at noon.
Please visit https://tinyurl.com/TownOfManliusBroadcast to view the broadcast. The only agenda item for that meeting was an intermunicipal agreement with the Villages for mitigating the local impact of COVID-19.
