The Town of Manlius Police Department has announced the arrest of Vincent A. Brush relative to an investigation regarding a male suspect claiming to clean gutters in the town of Manlius.
On Tuesday, June 2, Manlius Police sent out a press release alerting residents to a scam where a male suspect claimed to have performed gutter cleaning, but had not completed it and was still paid for the service.
Brush, of Fayetteville, was charged with petit larceny and soliciting without a permit, both misdemeanors. Police say further charges will be filed in the near future.
Brush is currently on parole for similar charges in the past, said Manlius police, and will be charged for violating his parole by the New York State Division of Parole.
