Following the Cazenovia Town Election of Nov. 8, councilor candidates Bill Zupan and Jennifer Basic were separated by just three votes, with totals of 819 and 822 respectively.
Ninety-four absentee ballots were distributed, and the Madison County Board of Elections counted the returned votes on Nov. 15.
Bill Zupan received 55 absentee votes, bringing his total count to 874.
Jennifer Basic received 43 absentee votes, bringing her total count to 865.
The results are still considered unofficial until the votes entered by military personnel are recorded on Nov. 21.
