Research & Marketing Strategies (RMS), a Baldwinsville firm, recently added Brian DeSantis to the staff as a Healthcare Analyst.
In his role, DeSantis works with the RMS Healthcare division team researching and analyzing survey and claims data, creating monthly reports. He also aids in satisfaction data sampling and survey distribution related to the CMS CAHPS survey, and other related projects.
DeSantis joined RMS in the spring of 2010 with more than 10 years of work experience in the financial market. He has worked for several financial Fortune 500 companies and has a Series 6 license. He also had the unique experience of training on Wall Street for six months.
DeSantis recently changed career paths working the last two years in the healthcare industry including a stint as an investigative assistant (Medicare Fraud) for the Durable Medical Equipment line of business at Wellpoint, Inc. and, most recently, as a medical/surgical technician at Oswego Hospital. He will use his analytical skill set in assisting RMS’ healthcare clients in their strategic decision-making.
DeSantis has an associate’s degree in international business, which enables him to see a more global picture when analyzing relevant data and creating reports. He resides in Oswego with his wife, Anne, and his children, Alyssa, Jasmine, Jordan and Brian.
