Greater Baldwinsville residents have approved the $93,669,512 proposed Baldwinsville Central School District budget with 2,094 in favor and 1,000 against.
Highlights of the budget include:
- Zero percent increase from last year’s budget
Increase of 2.23 percent to the tax levy
Cutting 92 positions
Using $4.16 million in reserves
Voters also approved proposition two, which proposed purchasing six new busses for the district’s fleet with 1,824 in favor and 1,237 against, and proposition three, which added a member to the board with 2,163 in favor and 832 against.
Voters elected Joan Reeves with 1,619 votes, Kenneth Dwyer with 2,061 votes and Steve Schweitzer with 1,883 votes to fill three Baldwinsville Board of Education seats. Incumbent Lawrence “Micha” Ordway received 1,534 votes in the election.
