After cultivating a successful public relations and marketing business throughout the Northeast, most recently in Brooklyn, Boss and Welch has “come home” to Camillus.
The husband-wife team of Stephen Boss and Patricia Welch relocated to Camillus about a year ago, leaving the New York City pace behind in favor of community-oriented small, local businesses.
“It was time for a change,” Boss said. “The economy in New York City fell apart, so we thought it was a good time to move to a lower-key life.”
They chose to return to Welch’s hometown of Camillus, where she still has family, and focus on helping to grow local businesses.
Their unique combination of skill sets include Welch’s specialty of live events and trade shows with an emphasis on industrial and 3D marketing, and Boss’ expertise with developing corporate IDs through TV, web and print marketing.
The pair has worked on projects for Bank of America, JP Morgan Chase, GE, VW, Peugot, Samsung, HP and Fairchild Publication to name a few, and since relocating to Camillus Boss developed the village of Camillus’ Web site.
When they’re not working to promote local companies, Boss said the pair is enjoying CNY life, “trying to relax a little bit more,” and meeting people in the community.
