Heitham Wady is the son of Mohammad and Eliana Wady. He has an older brother and sister. He also has two younger siblings enrolled in the district.
Heitham has worked diligently throughout his high school career. His determination and persistence paid off through academic success. Upon graduation, he will have completed eight AP courses, receiving the distinction of AP Scholar with Honors. He received perfect scores on the ELA, World History and US History Regents exams. At graduation, he will receive a Regents Diploma with Advanced Designation. He has maintained High Honor Roll throughout his high school career. Heitham has achieved perfect attendance throughout his four years in high school.
Aside from his studies, Heitham stays very involved through multiple extracurricular activities. He has been a member of the varsity wrestling team for four years, taking the role of captain both his junior and senior years. He also plays varsity lacrosse and was a member of last year’s sectional championship team.
In addition to his athletic career, Heitham is also a member of the National Honor Society, Mock Trial, Student Senate, Academic Decathalon, Double Down, Diversity Club and the Student Ambassador Program. The West Genesee Double Down team had a historic year as it won the CNY championship for the first time in the school’s history. Heitham is also the Senior Class treasurer. He finds the time to volunteer in the community by regularly donating blood for the American Red Cross and helping out at both Crouse and St. Joseph’s hospitals.
Heitham plans to attend a four-year university in the fall where he wants to pursue a study in pre-medicine and eventually go to medical school. He plans to become a cardiologist.
Lindsay Feraco is the daughter of Michael and Laura Feraco. She has an older brother, Sam, and a sister, Katie, who is a freshman at West Genesee.
Throughout her life as a student, Lindsay has kept herself mentally stimulated. Although involved in Advanced Placement classes, she still received high honor roll at the end of each quarter. Lindsay is involved in the Student Ambassador Program, National Honor Society and Senior Senate. Upon graduation, she will receive a Regents Diploma with Advanced Designation.
Outside of school, Lindsay has been involved as well. She was a member of the freshman volleyball team, and indoor track her sophomore and junior years. Lindsay works at the local P&C where she is a customer service clerk and cashier. When she has free time, she spends it volunteering, usually for the Rescue Mission.
After graduation, Lindsay plans to attend a four-year university. During this time she aspires to find her calling and to study abroad.
