The village of Elbridge and Elbridge Public Historian Jeanette R. Horner dedicated a historical marker in the village Thursday to what is currently the Red & White Creamery and Caf (c). The building was built by Nathan Munro in 1835 and was a tin shop upon its completion. It has been the home to several businesses over the past 170-plus years. It was Elbridge Glove and Mitten in 1870, Harrington’s Drug Store in 1885, the Red & White Store from 1934 through 1953, and was home to the Elbridge Post Office from 1953 through 1961. The Red & White Creamery is located at 108 East Main Street.
