Manlius — The Town of Manlius Police Department has announced the arrest of Matthew J. Vallette, 53, of Jamesville, for stealing from clients’ homes while he was working for them as a handyman.
Valletta was arrested and charged with one count of grand larceny in the second degree (class C felony), two counts of grand larceny in the third degree (class D felony), two counts of scheme to defraud in the first degree (class E felony) and petit larceny (class A misdemeanor).
Police say Valette was remanded to the Onondaga County Justice Center on a $5,000 cash/bond bail.
The Town of Manlius Police are asking for anyone who may have hired Valletta and feel they may be a victim of a crime to contact them at 682-2212.
