Seminar highlighting strategies for managing college choices and finances will be held at Creekside Books & Coffee on Thursday, Sept. 30 at 7 p.m.
Creekside Books and Coffee will host the College Assistance Plus (CAPlus) Seminar that offers strategies for parents and students to best manage college choices and finances. The seminar guided by Charlie and Anne McElroy, new franchisee owners of College Assistance Plus for Skaneateles, highlights ways to find the best college fit academically and financially. College fees have risen over 400 percent and student debt is a serious issue for families.
The McElroy’s interest in CAPlus is based on their experience and their desired to help other families facing the same financial decisions for their college-age children. They determined that CAPlus would have saved them over $30,000 had they known about the strategies offered by CAPlus. Plan to attend this informative workshop to learn more about the strategies that are available to control this potentially huge financial investment for parents and students. College Assistance Plus deals directly with families to provide them guidance on avoiding the financial pitfalls.
