aroline Mezzalingua nearly got the clinching point, dropping a third-set tie-breaker in a 6-4, 4-6, 7-6 (7-4) classic with Ginny Park, but Mira Zhang and Amy Walsh, trailing early, made a big comeback to beat Nina Svereika and Isabelle Brown 2-6, 6-2, 6-2 to give MPH the team win.
Then MPH beat Phoenix 6-1 on Thursday, with the singles trio of Fazeli, Mezzalingua and Migeed all winning in two sets, Mezzalingua challenged the most in a 6-3, 6-3 win over Finely Harwood.
