Diane G. Phillips, 89, of Cazenovia, passed away Monday, Nov. 8, 2021, at Crouse Community Center in Morrisville. She was born Sept. 19, 1932, in Watertown, N.Y., to Emerich A. and Dorothy C. George and resided in Cazenovia since 1959. She was a Welcome Wagon hostess in the late 1960s and was a dispatcher for CAVAC for 20 years. Diane was a deacon, elder, Sunday school teacher and a member of the choir of the Cazenovia Presbyterian Church for over 50 years.
Diane is survived by her son, John E. (Patricia) Dickerson of New Woodstock; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved husband of 35 years, Francis D. “Bud” Phillips in 2009.
A memorial service will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 13, 2021, at the First Presbyterian Church of Cazenovia, 27 Albany St., Cazenovia, NY 13035.
