Cazenovia — In anticipation of the new permanent museum exhibit that is nearing completion, Cazenovia Public Library Museum educators Pat Hill and Julia Smith Shotzberger have created a new lobby exhibit that will engage people’s minds. The exhibit, “Stay Curious Cazenovia,” features 24 curious objects from the museum’s “attic” that have long been out of public sight. Library patrons are encouraged to try and identify these objects. In February, in addition to revealing the identity of the mystery objects, a chart will illustrate the percentage of those objects correctly identified.
The library would also love to continue the curious exhibit by featuring items from community members’ personal collections. Anyone interested in sharing a personal treasure should contact Elisha Davies at the front desk and she can arrange a short-term loan for the purpose of the lobby exhibit.
