Father/Daughter Country Dance is Feb. 8
The Annual Father/Daughter Dance will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, at the CMC Dance Company on Route 31 in Cicero.
The dance has a country theme this year with a professional caller teaching participants basic, easy-to-learn, country-style dancing. Participants are encouraged to dress in jeans, plaid/flannel, cowboy/cowgirl boots and hats and be ready to kick up their heels for a country hoedown complete with refreshments, a live band and photo booth.

Lady Stars Basketball Program starts Jan. 30
Jan. 30 marks the start of a new girls basketball program called Lady Stars. Lady Stars is for girls in grades 3-6 and will practice on Thursday evenings at Allen Road Elementary School under the leadership of Coach Steve Jones. Karate John’s hosts classes
Family members of all ages can find fun opportunities at Karate John’s in Cicero.
• Kids Confidence Course: Your child (age 3-12) will gain confidence while learning respect, focus, and discipline in this six weeks of unlimited martial arts classes. Start as soon as you sign up! Classes are held Karate John’s in Cicero.
• Karate John’s Kickboxing and Fitness Class for Adults: Are you bored with the gym and the monotony of the treadmill? Karate John’s Certified staff will motivate an coach you through every workout in a judgment-free environment. Intense cardio routines engage your core and all muscle groups to help you build lean, toned muscle. Modifications are provided for various fitness level. Classes start as soon as you sign up.
