Books club are a great way to learn about new books, engage in meaningful dialog and make new friends. Did you know that BPL currently has three active books clubs? That’s right! Our Mystery Book Club meets at 10 a.m. on the second Thursday of each month. Books for Breakfast meets at 9 a.m. on the third Tuesday of the month, and our Rosamond Gifford Lecture Series Book Club meets the week before the Friends of the Central Library’s Rosamond Gifford Lecture. New members are always welcome to these programs.
However, since we are always looking for ways to make things even better, we want to hear from you. Stop by the library and add your thoughts to the book club survey we have posted near the community bulletin board. Let us know if there is a book club you’d like to see us start or maybe you have thoughts about the best days and times to have meetings. We’d love to hear from you!
