Beaver Lake Nature Center is offering two breakfast canoe tours at 7:30 a.m. Saturdays, July 16 and Aug. 13. The Breakfast Canoe Tour offers participants the chance to paddle during the cool morning hours while observing wildlife on the shore and overhead. This naturalist-led tour will stop midway through for a campfire pancake breakfast on land before returning to the canoes to complete the tour. Adults $5; children $3 plus $10 for the canoe rental. Pre-registration is required.
Party at the Pond
The Wildlife Pond at Beaver Lake Nature Center is a favorite spot to look for frogs and other pond life. Party at the Pond at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 19 is a chance to explore this pond with a naturalist. Adults and children welcome. Pre-registration required. Free with nature center admission.
