The Syracuse Crunch plays its American Hockey League 2011-12 home opener against the Adirondack Phantoms at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, at the Onondaga County War Memorial at State and Harrison streets, downtown.
While the Crunch is the top farm club of the NHL’s Anaheim Ducks, the Phantoms are affiliated with the Philadelphia Flyers.
The Crunch skate here again against the Lake Erie Monsters, farm team for the Colorado Avalanche, at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Oct. 21-22.
