Longtime Assemblyman Bill Magnarelli held onto his seat in the 129th District, as he ran unopposed. Magnarelli received 32,220 votes.
Magnarelli, a Democrat, was first elected to the 129th district in 1998. The 129th district includes Northside, Westside, Eastwood, Strathmore and Valley areas of the city of Syracuse, as well as the towns of Geddes and Van Buren.
