Dr. Ted J. Triana, D.O., has recently expanded Compassionate Family Medicine to the Baldwinsville area. Establishing his practice 12 years ago, Triana sought to provide quality medical service to the underserved community of Syracuse. This new location at 138 E. Genesee St. in Baldwinsville will now be the third location for CFM.
Before opening the doors at Compassionate Family Medicine, Triana served nine years as the medical director for the states of New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts and Delaware. He was also an associate medical director at Total Care for 10 years, as well as St. Joseph’s Westside Clinic medical director for three years.
Triana has also been the recipient of numerous professional and community awards, including the 2015 Onondaga Medical Society “Award for Physician Service to the Community,” which recognizes excellence in care for the refugee and underserved population within the Syracuse area.
Compassionate Family Medicine’s team consists of seven doctors, two nurse practitioners and one physician assistant. The Baldwinsville office will staff two family doctors, one pediatrician and one nurse practitioner. The office hours will be extended to include early morning (7:15 a.m.) and late evening (7 p.m.) hours. Some Saturday hours will be provided as well (9 a.m. to 1 p.m.). Dr. Triana and his team will continue to provide competent and compassionate care and extend this to patients at this location.
The staff at CFM would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Christenson and his team at Village Family Care of Baldwinsville for working with them during the transition and for trusting their new team at CFM with their patients. We wish them the very best.
