Dear FM Community:
The FFL strives to make any information of interest to the community available on our website. The questions in the April 13 Eagle Bulletin letter to the editor have been addressed multiple times in FFL board meetings beginning in September 2016. In addition, all information requested is easily accessible on the FFL website fflib.org/board-of-trustees. Finally, it is not a legal requirement for public comments, oral or written, to be included in meeting minutes. However, the FFL encourages any community members with questions or comments to attend our public meetings and to participate through the FFL public comment policy. The FFL Board meeting schedule is available on our website.
On our website you will find thorough, comprehensive information related to FFL financials, budget, tax cap, fund balance versus cash, a full accounting of the past 19 years of FFL funding, a statement to our community outlining our systematic approach to address any legitimate questions that have been received to date by the FFL. In addition, please note that the FFL recently undertook a comprehensive review of our 1909 Charter. This review is a legal action therefore the FFL is working with legal counsel to complete this review.
Also, in this April 13 edition of the Eagle Bulletin on page 2 in the print copy, please see a press release regarding the FFL’s 2016 independent audit results. You may access the full audit report along with the 2016 IRS tax form 990 on our website.
If you are interested in receiving more information on serving on the FFL Board of Trustees, please forward a brief letter of interest to Executive Director, Susan Considine, at [email protected] or 300 Orchard St., Fayetteville, NY 13066.
