To the editor:
On behalf of the entire Cazenovia Community Preschool, we would like to express our thankfulness to all who made the dream of a new playground a reality for our students.
It would not have been possible without the generosity of our financial donors, Barbara Houghton, from Community Bank, Fred Agerter from AmeriCu, our CCP Board of Directors, Playground Committee and builder Todd Bennett. All of these amazing people played an integral role in this long-awaited project. The backyard of our school has been transformed into a magical place for our young students where they not only can engage in physical activity but fun, imaginative play as well.
We would like to give special acknowledgement to Mr. Bennett, owner of Total Lawn Care in Manlius and father to Jacob, a former CCP student. Todd generously donated his time, materials and talents in the construction of the playground. He and his crew worked tirelessly through many hot summer days constructing the playground while adding many handcrafted and creative features and ensuring that the playground would be safe and secure.
We are confident that the students of CCP will have countless hours of fun and creative play on this spectacular playground and our future students will enjoy it for many years to come. We are truly grateful to all who contributed to this project and who have shown such care and support of Cazenovia Community Preschool.
