To the editor:
Cazenovia is fortunate to have a public library that truly enhances the quality of life in our community. On any given day, you may see school children touring the museum, people learning to use new technology and large and small groups gathering for books clubs, lectures or card games. Our library supports our curiosity and interests by providing resources, meeting space and programs to pursue those interests. Our library excels at providing a welcoming environment and for this reason, an average of 400 people visit daily.
In our survey of the community, respondents overwhelmingly commented on the outstanding level of service provided by our staff. Library staff members are dedicated to providing us with the most up-to-date resources to connect us with the information we need. The museum and archives are filled with documents and artifacts that preserve and share our history. The gallery introduces our community, young and old, to the wealth of talented artists residing in our area.
The Central New York Library Resources Council is currently accepting applications for Library of the Year and Library Staff All-Stars. If you are one of the many members of our community who enjoy all of the opportunities our library has to offer, we ask that you take a few minutes to nominate the Cazenovia Public Library for this award. If there is a library staff member who has provided you with outstanding service, please also submit a nomination for Library Staff All-Star. Nominations may be submitted online at clrc.org/awards.
Thank you for continuing the long tradition of support for our library.
