Carolyn A. Hall, 78, of Cazenovia, passed peacefully away Feb. 11, 2020, at home with her family by her side after a long illness. Born June 19, 1941, in Cass City, MI, she was the daughter of James and Katherine Gross.
Carolyn was a member the Hurley Hospital School of Nursing Class of 1962 in Flint, MI. She then worked as an emergency room RN in Michigan and Wisconsin before working as a pediatric nurse in Syracuse.
Known for her blue eyes, radiant smile and laugh, Carolyn was loved by so many people whose lives she was a part of around the world. A member of Christ Church in Manlius, she volunteered in many capacities for F-M Schools and Christ Church. She enjoyed traveling, reading, boating, hiking, dogs, entertaining, gardening and practical jokes. She was also an ornament painter and volunteered at the Bear’s Paw.
Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Dennis; daughters, Elizabeth Angelastro of Cazenovia, Leslyn Hall of Burlington, VT, Helle Solund of Denmark; grandchildren, Joseph, Jake and Thomas Angelastro, Isidora and J.P. Bailly-Hall; and sisters, Barbara Kube of Bad Axe, MI, and Virginia Bullock of Decker, MI.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on May 9, 2020, at Christ Church in Manlius. Burial will be in Manlius Village Cemetery.
