Robert Thomas Jennings, age 80, died on May 20, 2019 in Sanford, NC. He was born on March 24, 1939.
He is survived by his wife, Carol, of Sanford, NC; his children, Deborah and Ray Dill of Manlius; Daniel and Kelly Jennings of Wake Forest, NC and Robert and Lynette Jennings of Warren, PA; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, William, of Katy, Texas and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Linda and Paul Wightman of Sanford, NC and several nieces and nephews.
Bob was raised in Fayetteville and graduated from Fayetteville-Manlius High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force and is an Honorary Lifetime Member of the Manlius Fire Department. He retired from Midstate Telephone Co/Alltel.
Bob was the dedicated husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend everyone wishes they had.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, June 21, at the Manlius Fire Station, Route 92 and Enders Road, Manlius.
