Dorothy Gladding Huse of Fort Myers, FL, died on Nov. 14, 2017, at the age of 90. Dot was born in Barrington, Rhode Island, and is survived by her husband of 68 years, Walter, three children: Patricia, Allison (Bruce) Nunn, Preston (Bonnie), eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
From an early age Dot spread her love through community service, choral groups and church activities. A memorial service was held at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church at 4 p.m. on Nov. 18, 2017. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Scholarship Fund at Wesley Memorial or to The Florida United Methodist Children’s Home. The family has entrusted the care of their loved one to the national Cremation and Burial Society.
