Donato Colucci, 86

Donato Colucci, 86, of Skaneateles, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2016, at Auburn Community Hospital. Born in Fasano, Italy, he came to America in 1963. He retired from Welch Allyn, and also owned Skaneateles Broom Company where he handmade corn brooms. Donato loved spending time in his vegetable and flower gardens and also cooking delicious Italian food.
He is survived by his wife Nora DiCarlo Colucci, his nieces Julie King, and her daughters Justine Simmons-Arold and Jennifer Simmons and one cousin Marie Bell of Utica, N.Y.
As per his wishes there will be no calling hours or services. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Skaneateles.
