Effective March 18, all Van Buren town buildings are closed to the public until further notice.
All offices will be available from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday with a complete closure from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. daily for lunch.
“We are operating with half the usual staff so it may take a little longer to respond to calls, messages or emails. Please bear with us and we will get back to you as quickly as possible,” said a release from Town Clerk Lynn Precourt.

NYS Court System has closed all courts, including Van Buren, until May 1.
Any items for staff in a specific department are to be placed in the drop box, located by the Clerk’s Office and will be checked multiple times daily.
Please put tax payments in the drop box and a receipt will be mailed to you. If paying in cash (during business hours ONLY) make sure exact amount and call office at 315-635-3010 to let us know so we can pick it up promptly.
If you must have an in-person meeting please contact staff to make an appointment.
