To the editor:
As your highway superintendent over the last six years I have enjoyed meeting so many residents of the town of Van Buren. I am both pleased and proud to serve this great community. Pleased to have been able to discuss and remediate the various road or drainage issues that have occurred within our town. Proud to have earned your support and trust. The flood of support I have experienced this year has been humbling, Thank you so much!
I would also like to thank my opponent this year. It is always in the best interest of the community to give the voters choices in an election. So far we have both run issue-centered campaigns. I am glad we both agree that personal attacks and mud-slinging do not help the voters of Van Buren; what does help is talking about the issues our town’s highway department is faced with each day. I will continue to campaign with integrity. I would like to thank him for also doing the same.
