Two Cazenovia High School athletes last week signed their letters of commitment to attend and play lacrosse for two different colleges.
P.J. Brown signed his commitment letter on Tuesday, Nov. 25, to attend Loyola University, where he plans to study business and play Division I men’s lacrosse for the Greyhounds.
Eli Mitchell also signed his commitment letter to attend Connecticut College, where he plans to study history and play Division III men’s lacrosse.
“Thanks to our coaches and our parents for supporting us through the years,” Brown said during the ceremony that was attended by Cazenovia district administrators, coaches, teachers and students, as well as by his parents.
“Without our coaches or our parents, none of this would be possible,” Mitchell added.
District Athletic Director Mike Byrnes said “It is an honor for our district to celebrate this moment for our students.”
