Coach Jim Boeheim’s team visits Philadelphia to take on Villanova Wildcats at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11, in a game to be broadcast by ESPN2. Then they return to the Dome at 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, to tip off against the Providence Friars.

Music: Jazz on the Hill Fridays
Sitrus on the Hill, the recently renovated lounge at the Sheraton Syracuse University Hotel, is hosting a series called Jazz @ Sitrus featuring the region’s favorite artists, touring musicians and new faces on the scene.
Presented by CNY Jazz Central, all shows will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. on selected Fridays: Jan. 6, Jan. 20, Feb, 3, Feb. 17, March 9, March 23, April 13, April 27, May 11, May 25, June 1 and June 15.

Doors tribute at Dino
The local rock band, The Barn Dogs, will play a tribute to Jim Morrison and the Doors at 10 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, at downtown’s Dinosaur Bar-B-Que.
The Mike Delaney Trio performs there at 9:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, followed by the Reissues at 10 p.m. Friday, Jan. 6.

Blues brunch Sundays
No matter how much fun you had on Saturday night, there’s plenty more to be had on Sunday morning. Stage: ‘Bedroom Farce’

The plot sounds like a sexy but silly soap opera: Trevor’s and Susannah’s marriage is on the rocks so they inflict their miseries on their nearest and dearest three couples whose own relationships are shaky at best. The action takes place in the three beleaguered couples’ bedrooms during one endless Saturday night of co-dependence and dysfunction. As the play unfolds, beds, tempers and domestic order are ruffled, leading all eight characters to a hilariously touching epiphany.

Disney princesses Cinderella, Ariel, Jasmine and Sleeping Beauty continue skating gracefully as “Disney On Ice presents Treasure Trove” wraps up its five-day run this weekend at the Onondaga County War Memorial.

‘Perfect Ganesh’ at Redhouse
When two suburban matrons travel to India in search of spiritual enlightenment, they encounter the Hindu elephant god Ganesha who leads them on a revealing and often hilarious pilgrimage in Terrance McNally’s stage comedy, “The Perfect Ganesh,” opening at 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 12, at the Redhouse, 201 S. West St.
As in past productions, this Redhouse stage show blends the talents of out-of-town professionals along with talented locals.
Tim Brown returns after his work on “The Wiz!” to design the set, lights and projections. Lisa Loen, whose work was featured in the Redhouse production of “Conference of the Birds,” will design the costumes. John Czajkowski is technical director and Kyle Kashel is sound designer.
Stephen Svoboda directs the production which features local Equity actors Susannah Berryman and Laura Austin and New York actors J.L. Reed and Adam Perabo, last seen at Redhouse in “Odysseus DOA.” Binaifer Dabu, who also appeared in “Odysseus,” joins the “Ganesh” cast to provide musical accompaniment.
