Come out to this year’s Baldwinsville Christmas Tree lighting, which will be held at 5:30 p.m. Saturday Nov. 28 at the Red Mill Inn.
“Come sing carols with Santa Claus, decorate Christmas ornaments and enjoy hot chocolate, coffee and delicious cookies donated by P&C Foods,” said Lee Wilder, executive director of the Greater Baldwinsville Chamber of Commerce.
Santa will once again arrive by a horse drawn wagon. While participants wait for their turn to visit with Santa, crafts, movies and treats for children will be available for everyone’s enjoyment. There will also be wagon rides around Paper Mill Island.
“It’s a great night to enjoy time with family and friends,” Wilder said. “Special thank you to the Redmill Inn for partnering with the Chamber of Commerce to host this event. Also, special thanks to Michael Anselment and family for donating the tree.”
Anselment, his wife, Debbie, and children, Alex and Brittany, of Country Lane in Baldwinsville, donated the 40-foot Christmas tree to be used for the village’s holiday display in the village parking lot located in front of the Red Mill Inn. And, like previous years, Stan Dombroski of Timber Tree Service generously donated his equipment and staff to remove and transport the tree.
Village officials are grateful to the Anselment Family and Timber Tree Service for their generous donations and encourage the public to attend this holiday event.
