The Madison County Farm Bureau invites the public to join them as they recognize local Madison County resident Monica Jones at 6 p.m. Tuesday July 28 at the Madison County Cornell Cooperative Extension Office in Morrisville on Center Street.
Monica, age 10 will be presented with a gift of local Madison County Agricultural products by Darrell Griff, president of the Madison County Farm Bureau. Jones is being recognized for her recent art submission to the Madison County Fair as part of the Madison Youth Bureau’s Children’s and Teen Art Exhibit.
The title of Monica’s artwork, “I Love the Farms of Madison County” depicts a rural farm scene of grazing farm animals.
New York Farm Bureau is the statewide lobbying/trade organization that represents over 29,000 member families. Its members and the public know the organization as “The Voice of New York Agriculture.” New York Farm Bureau is dedicated to solving the economic and public policy issues challenging the agricultural community.
