Mark Zbikowski, Jr., a senior at Baker High School, recently won first place for his self-portrait pastel, which he submitted in the 2009 Central New York Art Guild Annual High School Senior Art Show & Competition held April 23 at the Edgewood Art Gallery. Ten school districts overall submitted art work for the competition including a total of 34 students. Zbikowski, who is pictured with his pastel self-portrait, will attend SUNY Oswego in the fall majoring in art education.
