ONONDAGA COUNTY — The Onondaga Agriculture Council invites the public to the fifth annual ON Farm Fest. Enjoy a free day of family-friendly fun as nine local farms open for tours from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18.
Learn about life on the farm and discover the latest advances in agriculture. Many farms will have local products and food for sale, live music, and interactive exhibits.
The host farms are:
- Albanese Longhorns: 6818 Route 20, LaFayette
- Barbland Dairy: 1338 Vincent Corners Road, Fabius
- Brady Farm: 150 Ford Ave., Syracuse
- Cold Spring Beef Farm: 5700 Townsend Road, Fayetteville
- Emmi Farms: 1482 W. Genesee Road, Baldwinsville
- Navarino Orchard: 3655 Cherry Valley Turnpike, Syracuse
- Tim’s Pumpkin Patch: 2901 Rose Hill Road, Marietta
- Whitetail Tree Farm: 1949 Pompey Center Road, Fabius
- Tyson Farm & Feed: 3722 Bishop Hill Road, Marcellus
Visit onondagagrown.com/onfarmfest to explore the farms online and see which ones interest you. The Onondaga Agriculture Council recommends visiting three or four farms, and spending about an hour at each. Use the interactive map to plan your day.
