Two more CNY Counties League matches awaited the Baldwinsville bowling teams against very familiar foes.
The Bees met Cicero-North Syracuse last Tuesday afternoon at Strike-N-Spare Lanes, unable to win on either side against the Northstars, though B’ville did pick off a point in tense 2-1 loss.
Jarrod Williams powered his way to a 251 high game and 621 series, while Tanner Mento had a 586 series and high game of 220. Yet it wasn’t enough against a Northstars side that had Zach Emm shoot a 675 series (237 high game) and Josh Archer steadily work his way to a three-game total of 618.
As for the B’ville girls team, it had Brooke Flask shoot a season-best 203 game on her way to a 483 series, while Hannah Pinard posted a 472 series and a 166 high game. On the C-NS side, Kaitlin Antineli led with a 586 series (205 high game) and Carly Lescenski (471 high game, 169 high game) helped out.
Back home at B’ville Sports Bowl, each of the Bees’ sides would get tested by Liverpool on Friday afternoon, and each of the matches would have 2-1final scores – and would end in a split.
Victorious, the boys Bees saw Mento roar to a 684 series and Williams finish with a three-game total of 679, each of them sporting 235 high games. Tanner Rozycko’s 243 game led to a 594 set, all of which helped overcome the work of Liverpool’s Zak Orsmby, who led all individuals with a 669 series and 247 high game.
The girls match between B’ville and Liverpool proved close, but the Bees lost despite Flask shooting the best individual game (193) and series (522) during this match.
Pinard had a 424 series (160 high game) and Taylor Savage added a 360 series. The Warriors’ Dailyn McCarthy had a 492 series (181 high game) and Ashley Hardy contributed a 435 series, aided by Riley Warren, who had a 398 set.
