The following activities are being offered at the Camillus Senior Center 25 ½ First St. Camillus, NY.
What is a Smartphone and What do I do with it?
Teens from the Town Shop will be here to lend their expertise in demystifying the cellphone.
Learn about data plans, apps, messages, pictures, settings, terminology and more.
This class is for people who already have smartphones or who are thinking about getting a smartphone. Wednesday, July 6 from 10:30 to noon, free. Call 672-5820 to register.
Syracuse Chiefs Game
Enjoy an afternoon at the ball park! We have reserved 200-level seats between 3rd base and home plate. Wednesday, July 20.
The school bus leaves the senior center at 11:00 a.m. (game starts at 12:00 noon) and returns after the game at approximately 3 p.m. Only $12 per person (55+). Register in advance at the senior center.
Picnic
Enjoy a summer picnic at the Erie Canal Park!
Lunch to include BBQ chicken, salad and dessert. Stroll along the canal and check out the restored aqueduct. Tuesday, July 26 from 11 to 2 p.m. $2.75 cash suggested contribution due in advance. Register in advance at the senior center.
Senior Aerobics
Wednesdays and/or Fridays (six classes) 9:30 to 10 a.m. Wednesdays – July 20 – Aug. 24 Fridays – July 22 – Aug. 26, $25 per participant per six week session. Register in advance at the senior center. (Participants should consult with a physician before beginning any exercise program)
Stickley Tour and Lunch
This trip includes a tour of the Stickley furniture factory in Fayetteville, buffet lunch at the Limestone Grille and a visit to the Stickley museum and tour of Hercules Candies.
There is walking involved in the trip. Wednesday, August 10th from 9::30 to 5 p.m. Cost per person is $35, $45 for non-residents. Call 672-5820 for more information. Register in advance at the senior center.
