The 18th annual Taste of East Syracuse is taking place today, Tuesday, Aug. 1, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The event will be held at the corner of North Center and Ellis streets outside the village municipal building at 204 N. Center St.
The festival will include live music from The Noisy Boys, various local food vendors, and a cookoff on the main stage between Mayor Lorene Dadey and Wegman’s chef Emilie Linton. There will also be a dunk tank, balloon twisting, pony rides, a bounce house and other games for kids.
