To the editor:
A cat named Jax, a girl named Linda and a few good men from Benedict Tree Removal were strangers at best until one sunny, summer day.
A tall tree had lured young Jax to the top; deep blue skies had called Linda out for morning run.
Fate twisted and turned that August day taking Linda off her usual route and instead down Lyman Street where a cat could be heard crying in distress.
A local resident on the street pointed to the top of the tall pine tree and said, “Been up there for days — 12 weeks old — ran out the door and up the tree — policemen, firemen and neighbors, they’ve all been here, can hear him for blocks all night long — being blasted out this afternoon.”
Linda ran home, her mind racing faster than her feet. “Who could climb that tree; who could rescue; time is running out; they are coming to blast the cat out of the tree; the cat won’t survive; time is running out!”
Benedict! Benedict Tree and Stump Removal! They are experts at climbing trees!
Thank you John; thank you Joe; thank you for donating your time and expertise to rescue cat Jax.
